KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in three sets (25-13, 25-11, 25-21) by No. 20 Hope College Friday inside Anderson Athletic Center.

Rachel Girard led the Hornets with eight kills while hitting .240 overall.

Maria Katrantzi added six kills with eight digs. Shelby Suseland finished with four kills.

Kaiya Herman-Hilker led the team with 17 assists while Taylor Ferguson had 11 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Saturday with an 11 a.m. match at Albion.
