The Kalamazoo College volleyball team had its hands full Friday evening as it took on No. 2 nationally ranked Calvin College. The Knights defeated the Hornets 3-0.

Calvin controlled the match from the start taking the first set 25-5 and momentum remained with the Knights the rest of the match as they took the second set 25-12 and the third set 25-17.

Calvin ended the match with a hitting percentage of .507.

Leading the way for the Hornets in the contest was Kaela Van Til. She ended the day with a team high six kills.

Logan Horejsi led the way defensively for the Hornets recording seven digs.

K will look to gain its first win in MIAA action with a quick turnaround Saturday morning. The Hornets are set to host Trine at 11 a.m. inside the Anderson Athletic Center.
