ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost 3-1 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play at Adrian College on Saturday.

Kalamazoo won the first set 25-22, but Adrian responded by winning the next three sets 25-8, 25-19, 25-15.

The host Bulldogs hit .242 in the match while Kalamazoo hit .053. Adrian had nine service aces to Kalamazoo's three, and the Bulldogs had 10 team blocks to Kalamazoo's one.

Nya Greenstoned led Kalamazoo with 12 kills and nine digs. Noa Yaakoby had six kills with a .250 attack percentage. Kaela Van Til also had six kills. Paige Johnson finished with five.

Alex Gothard had 25 assists with four digs while Logan Horejsi had 18 digs.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Hope College on Wednesday, Sept. at 7 p.m.
