The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in five sets to Adrian on Saturday.

After splitting the first four sets, Adrian won the fifth set, 18-16.

Nya Greenstone led the Hornets with 27 kills and 15 digs.

Johanna Kupe had 13 kills while Quinn McCormick finished with nine.

Alex Gothard recorded 52 assists with 10 digs.

Allison Liddane had a team-high 15 digs.

Kalamazoo faced Manchester University later in the afternoon and defeated the Spartans 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 34-32, 25-23).

Kelsey Hill led the Hornets with 23 kills in 46 attempts.

Johanna Kupe had 11 kills.

Alex Gothard had 44 assistss with 14 digs.

Allison Liddane had a team-high 23 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action with a match at Olivet on Tuesday, Oct. 2nd.
