The Kalamazoo College volleyball team won 3-1 at Albion on Friday.

Kalamazoo won the first two sets, 25-20, 25-22, before dropping the third set, 17-25.

Kalamazoo trailed 20-16 in the fourth set and then 24-20, but the Hornets rallied for six straight points to win the set (26-24) and the match.

Nya Greenstone led Kalamazoo with 18 kills and 16 digs.

Kelsey Hill had 13 digs and four blocks. Quinn McCormick had 12 kills.

Alex Gothard had 45 assists in the match with 14 digs.

Allison Liddane had a team-high 20 digs.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Adrian on Saturday at noon. The Hornets also host Manchester at 4 p.m.
