Women's Cross Country places 9th at MIAA Championships

ALBION, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team placed ninth at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Saturday after hosted by Albion College.

Leading the charge for the Hornets was reigning MIAA runner of the week, Cheyenne Allyn-White. Allyn-White placed 43rd overall with a time of 26:00.7.

Victoria Thamann crossed the finish line second for K with a time of 27:14.8, good for 50th overall.

Hannah Hamilton rounded out the top three for Kalamazoo with a 30:31.0 pace. Finishing fourth and fifth for Kalamazoo were Emma Farrell and Brianna Burnell. They recorded times of 31:31.5 and 32:00.4, respectively.

Next up for the team is a trip to the Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 12.
