Volleyball Sweeps Wilmington

DELAWARE, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team defeated Wilmington College in three sets Friday at Ohio Wesleyan University's Bishop Invitational.

Kalamazoo won 25-21, 25-21, 25-18.

The first set was tied 20-20 before Kalamazoo scored five of the final six points to win the set. The second set was tied 13-13 before the Hornets began to pull away. Kalamazoo led early in the third set but was up just 19-17 before winning six of the final seven points to win the set and the match.

Madi Goodman led the Hornets with 12 kills. Sydney Dowdell had 10 kills.

Grace Kraft tallied 36 assists while Taylor Ferguson led the team with 22 digs.

Kalamazoo faces host Ohio Wesleyan Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by Otterbein at 1 p.m.
