Volleyball Loses Non-Conference Match at Alma

ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost a non-conference match in four sets at Alma on Tuesday, 25-10, 27-29, 28-26, 25-21.

Kalamazoo trailed early in the first set never gained any momentum. The second and third sets went back-and-forth with each team winning a set by two points. The fourth set was tied 15-15 before a six-point run by Alma made it 21-15. Kalamazoo cut it to three (23-20) before Alma won two of the final three points to win the set and the match.

Madi Goodman led Kalamazoo with 18 kills and a .371 attack percentage. 

Lindsey Nedd and Sydney Dowdell each had 12 kills with Dowdell hitting .476 for the match.

Grace Kraft had 45 assists while Ashley Rill and Taylor Ferguson each had 16 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action this Friday and Saturday at the Ohio Wesleyan Bishop Invitational.
