Ferguson, a junior from Hickory Corners, Mich. (Gull Lake HS), was paramount for the Hornets in their 3-1 week. The defensive specialist tallied 57 digs in just four matches. She also added 13 service aces during the week, which were the most on the team.
Ferguson's 101 digs place her in a tie for sixth in the MIAA thus far this season. Her 28 service aces top the conference by nine.
In the 2017 season, Ferguson led the MIAA in digs per set with 5.51 and her 490 digs were good for fourth-most in the conference as a freshman.
Ferguson and the Hornets carry their 7-1 overall record into the third week of the season that features a non-conference match-up against Alma before traveling to Delaware, Ohio for the Bishop Invitational over the weekend.
