Madi Goodman was honored on Tuesday as the Hornet of the Week by Kalamazoo College Athletic Leadership Council.
Goodman, a sophomore from Portage, Mich. (Portage Central HS), played in all five matches for the Hornets this week and ended with 59 kills, 10 blocks, and a total attack percentage of .350.
In Kalamazoo's five-set win over North Park, Goodman had a week high .448 hitting percentage.
Goodman's big week moved her into the team lead in kills (210), kills per set (2.80), and total attack percentage (.277). Goodman is also second on the team in blocks with 40.
This marks the first time Goodman has been honored by the Kalamazoo College ALC and joins teammate Shelby Suseland as the only Hornet volleyball players to be named to the award.
