Volleyball Falls in Five to Trine

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost at home to Trine University in five sets Wednesday evening.

Kalamazoo won the first two sets 25-21, 25-18 before Trine rallied to win the final three 25-22, 25-16, 15-9.

Madi Goodman led the Hornets with 15 kills and a .345 attack percentage. 

Shelby Suseland added 13 kills while Rachel Girard finished with 10 kills.

Zoey Ammon posted 35 assists while Maddie Wojcik had 29 digs. Sophie Woodhams and Vanessa Vigier were also in double digits in digs with 15 and 13, respectively.

Kalamazoo returns to action Friday and Saturday with non-conference matches at North Park and Illinois Tech.
