Women's Tennis falls to Case Western, WMU

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost a pair of non-conference matches Sunday inside the Markin Center.

Kalamazoo lost the opener 8-1 to No. 18 Case Western Reserve University. Laura Hanselman earned Kalamazoo's only point with a 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 win at No. 2 singles.

The Hornets lost their afternoon contest 7-0 to NCAA Division I neighbor Western Michigan University. Hanselman and Maria Franco were edged out 7-6(6) at No. 1 doubles for Kalamazoo's best chance to earn a win.

Kalamazoo returns to action March 3rd at Denison University.
