KALAMAZOO, Mich. - In a release today, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Madeline Woods co-MIAA Diver of the Week after Woods continued her impressive season with another strong performance against Calvin.
Woods, a senior from Ann Arbor, took first place on the three meter board with a score of 247.57 and scored 255.05 on the one meter board to finish in second place, just behind Calvin's Sarah Bradley with whom she shares this week's award.
For Woods, this is her fourth MIAA Diver of the Week honor of the season, including back-to-back wins earlier in the year, and the sixth such honor of her record setting career. In addition to her success in conference meets, the three-time All-MIAA honoree has also already qualified for the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals this year.
Kalamazoo will return to the pool at home on Saturday, January 3rd for a dual meet with Olivet beginning at 1 p.m.
