"Congratulations to Adrian, they are a deserving champion," said Head Coach Bryan Goyings. "Although we are disappointed in the result, I am very proud of the resilience the group showed not just tonight but throughout the season."

Kalamazoo finished the season 8-8-3 overall while finishing third in the league with a 5-2-1 record.

"At one point during the year, we were 1-5-3," Goyings said. "To finish the season as MIAA finalist and with eight wins speaks to the belief and determination of this team."
