KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team dropped its match against Adrian on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 2-0.
Following a scoreless first half, the Bulldogs got on the board early in the second as Megan Louwers connected on a penalty kick in the 50th minute to grab the lead.
Caroline Fleming tallied the second and final goal of the match for Adrian in the 53rd minute to put the game away at 2-0.
Kalamazoo outshot Adrian 21-14 in the match and held an 11-6 advantage in shots on goal.
Maddie Odom tallied four saves in goal for the Hornets.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 15 as it travels to Adrian for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
