KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team dropped its match with Olivet on Tuesday night by a score of 1-0.

The Comets scored the one and only goal of the match in the 26th minute when Emma Essen found the back of the net.

The Hornets outshot Olivet 22-11 and had nine shots on goal compared to the Comets' six, but were unable to get one to fall.

Kai Ketola, Rosella LoChirco, and Libby Munoz led Kalamazoo with two shots on goal each.

"Olivet was very organized and took advantage of their opportunities," said Coach Bryan Goyings. "I thought we created some excellent chances in both the first and second half, but was disappointed we were not able to find an equalizer."
