ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team lost 2-0 at Adrian on Sunday.
The host Bulldogs scored just 59 seconds into the contest and carried a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Adrian scored again in the 63rd minute while keeping the Hornets scoreless throughout.
Adrian outshot Kalamazoo 14-8, including 6-2 on goal.
Coach Bryan Goyings said, "Adrian is an excellent team and was better than us on the day. They proved they are one of the top teams in the MIAA. It is paramount that we are able to make proper adjustments and improvements in order to finish the conference schedule strong and with a purpose."
Kalamazoo returns to action at home on Wednesday, Oct. 10 when the Hornets take on Albion at 7 p.m.
