Women's Lacrosse Falls at Hope

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost 15-7 at Hope on Tuesday.

Kalamazoo scored the first goal, but the host Dutch scored five straight to take a 5-1 lead. Kalamazoo battled back and evened the score at 6-6 before Hope scored again to take a 7-6 lead into halftime.

Hope scored the first four goals of the second half. Kalamazoo got on the board to make it 11-7, but Hope scored four straight again to make it 15-7 and held on for the win.

Rachel Madar led Kalamazoo with three goals. 

Marianna Olson and Rose Bogard each scored twice.

Amanda Moss and Hannah Wolfe each had five ground balls to lead the Hornets. Madar have five draw controls.

Kalamazoo returns to action Saturday, April 6 at Alma.
