Women's Lacrosse wins 19-9 at Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team continued its offensive hot streak with a 19-9 victory over Adrian its final contest of the season.

The Hornets started off well with three straight goals to take an early lead. Adrian answered with three goals of their own to tie the game 3-3 halfway through the first half.

From there, K would grab control of the game with five straight goals. The teams traded goals late and Kalamazoo went into the half leading 9-4.

The second half was more of the same as K opened with four straight goals and later in the half repeated that feat to end their season with three straight games scoring 18 or more goals.

Rachel Madar led K with seven goals to finish the season with 72 and had 10 draw controls, her second straight game with double digit draw controls.

Caroline Mundell found the back of the net five times, Amanda Moss had three goals and two assists, and four others Hornets also chipped in a goal.

Senior Katie Johnson made 12 saves in her final game as a Hornet and leaves the K holding every program goalie record after a decorated career.

Kalamazoo finishes the year 7-8 overall and 4-4 and MIAA play.
