Women's Basketball Dropped by Calvin

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was defeated by Calvin 82-48 on Wednesday evening. 

The Knights got out to a 23-13 lead by the end of the first quarter in tonight's contest and never looked back. 

The Hornets finished the game shooting 29.3 percent (17-58) from the field and 28.6 percent (8-28) from beyond the arc.

Calvin had a 51.6 percent shooting percentage while connecting on seven of 22 three point attempts. 

Freshman Kaytlyn Tidey led the Hornets in scoring with 12 points. 

Darby Scott added 10 points from off the bench.

Kalamazoo continues MIAA play on Saturday, Jan. 19 when it hosts Adrian at 3 p.m.
