Men's Cross Country Finishes Eighth at MIAA Championships

ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team placed eighth at the MIAA Championships hosted by Trine in Angola, Ind. on Saturday. 

Jackson Kelly led Kalamazoo with a 26th place finish as the senior crossed the finish line in 28:07.

Caleb Patton was the second Hornet finisher as he placed 50th at 31:16.

Lucas Rizzolo, Sam Meyer, and Juleon Brodie finished 51st, 52nd, and 53rd overall, respectively. Each member of the trio finished within 40 seconds on each other as Rizzolo paced the group at 32:01.

"The men ran very strong on a very challenging, muddy, and hilly course," said Head Coach Kyle Morrison. "I'm proud of their effort and know that the culture we created this season will lead to a different result next year."
