Men's Tennis Defeats Earlham

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Earlham College 8-1 in a match played at Wabash College on Saturday.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches. The only loss came at one singles where Ian Yi retired in the third set.

Yi and Daniel Henry won 8-1 at one doubles while Zack Ray/Jai Banerji won at two and Peter Fitzgerald/Tytus Metzler won at three.

Henry won 6-4, 4-6, 13-11 at two singles while Metzler (3), Casey Johnson (4), Banerji (5), and Gabe Vidinas (6) won in straight sets. Vidinas did not lose a game at six.

Kalamazoo returns home to face No. 4 Chicago on Saturday, Feb. 15 followed by No. 11 Kenyon on Sunday, Feb. 16.
