Swimming & Diving teams earn Scholar All-America recognition

NORFOLK, Va. – The Kalamazoo College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were each selected as Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America at the end of the spring quarter.

Programs must achieve a 3.0 or better GPA during their most recent term to be eligible for the honor.

The Kalamazoo men's program slightly edged the women's program boasting a 3.48 team GPA last term. The women ended the term with a 3.37 team GPA.

Kalamazoo is one of 476 colleges with a Scholar All-America team selection across all three divisions of the NCAA, the NAIA and the NJCAA.

In addition to the team accolades, four Kalamazoo divers were named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America team.

Colin Grogan, Nicki Bailey, Madeline Jump and Madeline Woods were each recognized for achieving at least a 3.5 GPA and competing at the NCAA III Championships.
