HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team was defeated by Hope College in the semifinals of the MIAA Tournament Wednesday evening by a final score of 2-0.
The Dutchmen got on the board early in this evening's contest as they found the back of the net less than nine minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead.
Hope doubled its lead in the 66th minute and the Hornets were unable to muster up a comeback.
Kalamazoo was outshot 17-9 during the match and Hope held a 9-2 advantage on shots on goal.
Goalie Luke Kastran made seven saves in goal for the Hornets.
