KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team topped Albion on Tuesday evening in an MIAA contest that ended 2-0.

Junior Ben Meschke got the Hornets on the board early in this one as he found the back of the net just 4:54 into the match for his 10th goal of the season.

The forward did it again less than 30 minutes later as he connected on a Travis Barclay assist to put Kalamazoo up 2-0.

The two teams played a scoreless second half.

Meschke's two goals give him 11 in Kalamazoo's 12 games this season.

The Hornets outshot the Brits 16-4 throughout the game and held a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Freshman goalie Sean Ellis played all 90 minutes in goal while making three saves.

Kalamazoo returns to play on Saturday, Oct. 26 as it hosts Calvin University at 3:30 p.m.
