KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team defeated Lourdes University Monday evening by a final score of 2-0.

The Hornets got on the board early in tonight's contest as Aidan Hurley connected on a Tony Yazbeck assist in the second minute to get out to a 1-0 lead.

After a Lourdes handball in the 66th minute, Nick Kraeuter found the back of the net on a penalty shot to deliver the second and final goal of the night.

Freshman Sean Ellis made nine saves for the Hornets as he improved his record in goal to 2-1.

Lourdes outshot Kalamazoo 16-15 and had nine shots on goal to Kalamazoo's seven.

The Hornets return to play on Friday, Sept. 27 as they travel to the University of Chicago for their final non-conference game.
