Kastran, a sophomore from Rochester Hills, Mich. (Rochester HS), put together another impressive week for the Hornets to aide the team to a 2-0 week and 5-1-1 overall record.
The goalkeeper tallied 10 total saves in the two games and allowed zero goals. He now has 25 saves in the 5 games he has played for the Hornets.
Kastran is the MIAA leader in save percentage at .962 and also leads the league in goals-against average at 0.21.
This is the second time this season that Kastran has been tabbed as the top defensive player in the conference.
The Hornets return to action on Monday, Sept. 23 when they face-off with Lourdes before heading to the University of Chicago on Friday evening.
