Men's Soccer Tops North Central

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team improved to 3-1-1 on the season following a 1-0 victory over North Central College on Saturday evening.

The Hornets got on the board early and held on in this one as Ben Meschke found the back of the net in the seventh minute to obtain the 1-0 lead. Travis Barclay assisted on the play. 

Freshman Sean Ellis and the Hornet defense kept a clean sheet as Ellis made seven saves. 

Each team took 11 shots in the game while North Central held a 7-4 advantage in shots on goal.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 18 as it hosts Elmhurst at 6 p.m.
