KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team was defeated by Adrian College, 3-0, Tuesday evening at MacKenzie Field.
Despite trailing 1-0 after the first 45 minutes of play, Kalamazoo outshot the Bulldogs 9-6 in the first half. The script was flipped in the second half, though, as Adrian tacked on a goal less than two minutes into the second half and sustained pressure late into the game.
Adrian ended the evening with an 18-12 overall advantage in shots.
Griffin Hamel made eight saves for the Hornets on the evening.
The Hornets will look to regroup this Saturday, Oct. 1 when they host Hope at MacKenzie Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
