Erik Frank
Title: Assistant Coach

Erik Frank joined the Kalamazoo College coaching staff prior to the 2019 season.

Frank was an assistant with the Albion College men's lacrosse program and helped guide the team to an MIAA championship in 2017 and MIAA Tournament championships in 2017 and 2018. As a high school coach Frank led Vicksburg (Mich.) High School to back-to-back Southwest Michigan Lacrosse Conference championships in 2016 and 2017. Frank compiled a record of 38-9 at the high school level and was named SWMLC Coach of the Year in 2017. Frank is currently the head coach at Mattawan (Mich.) High School.

Frank is a trainer in the US Lacrosse Coaching Development Program and a US Box Lacrosse Association Level 1 Coach and Certified Official. He is the Maverick All-American Team Michigan Coach since 2016.

Frank was a goalie at C.D. Hylton High School (Woodbridge, Va.) where he twice earned All-Conference and All-Region honors (2006 & 2007). In 2007 he was named Cardinal District Player of the Year and Second-Team All-Metropolitan.

Frank was also a goalie at Western Michigan University and was named Team MVP in 2013. He earned All-Conference honorable mention honors in 2011 and the Unsung Hero Award in 2008 and 2010.

Frank is a 2013 graduate of Western Michigan University where he earned a degree in physical education/coaching and school health. He currently resides in Portage, Mich., and is a physical education teacher at Mattawan Consolidated School.
