Men's Basketball Defeats Adrian

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team picked up its first MIAA victory on Wednesday night as it defeated Adrian 67-62.

The Hornets got out to a 36-20 lead at the half and were able to maintain that lead throughout the second half. 

Adrian cut the Hornet lead down to just three with under one minute remaining in the game, but Jeremiah Vincent connected on two crucial free throws with two seconds remaining to put the game away.

The Bulldogs' last lead in the game came with 18:58 remaining in the first half.

Tanner Blyly and Ben Reiter led Kalamazoo offensively with 15 points each. Blyly also added eight rebounds and five assists. 

Bass Ollie added 11 points off the bench. 

The Hornets return to play on Saturday, Jan. 26 when they host Alma at 3 p.m.
