GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team fell at Calvin on Wednesday evening by a score of 83-71.
The Hornets got out to a solid start tonight and held the lead for the first 11 minutes of the game.
Calvin, however, found its groove and took control. The Knights took an 18-16 lead with just under nine minutes left in the first half and kept that lead the rest of the contest.
Kalamazoo finished the game at 41.2 percent (28-68) from the floor and 42.9 percent (9-21) from three point range.
Tanner Blyly led the way for Kalamazoo with 21 points, six assists, and four rebounds.
Bass Ollie added 18 points on seven for 10 shooting.
Kalamazoo will head to Trine on Saturday, Jan. 19 for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
