Baseball Drops Doubleheader at Albion

ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost 11-0 and 9-2 at Albion College on Monday.

Game One

The host Britons took advantage of two big innings to defeat Kalamazoo 11-0 in Monday's opener. Albion scored five in the third and six in the sixth while keeping the Hornets off the board.

Alex Fultz had two hits in the game including a double. Chase Coselman and Stefan Leclerc each singled.

Jordan Wiley was hit-by-pitch three times.

Game Two

Albion scored three runs in the second inning and led 4-1 after three. Albion increased its lead to 6-1 after seven before the Hornets scored a run again in the top of the eighth. Albion responded with three more in the bottom half and closed out the ninth for the win.

Jordan Wiley and Alex Fultz each had two hits. 

Ryan Morgan doubled in the game while Wiley and Doug Propson each drove in a run.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to be back home on Tuesday, April 16 for a doubleheader with Adrian beginning at 2 p.m.
