KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Anderson University 7-0 in the Hornets' season opener Saturday inside the Markin Tennis Center.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches to win the doubles point before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Juliana Pullen/Addison Lyons won 6-0 at one doubles. Eleni Bougioukou/Daryn Krause won 6-2 at two. Peja Liles/Soussana Kimbouris won 6-1 at three.

Juliana Pullen (1), Addison Lyons (2) and Daryn Krause (6) all won 6-0, 6-0 in singles. Eleni Bougioukou (3), Molly Stevison (4) and Soussana Kimbouris (5) also won in straight sets.

Kalamazoo is back in action Sunday morning at 10 a.m. against Wooster inside the Markin Tennis Center.
