PORTAGE, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team hosted the Steven Tyler Memorial at The Moors Golf Club and finished fifth with a team score of 329 on Monday (Apr. 15).

In the first spring season tournament, Tyler Omness finished in a tie for third place with a 77 (+5) at the Par 72 course that was 6,719 yards long. 

Emiliano Alvarado Rescala was four shots behind Omness with an 81 (+9), which was good for a tie for 10th. Nick Coseo was the next Hornet to finish with an 85 (+13) and in a tie for 17th.

Aidan Lancaster shot an 86 (+14) and finished in a tie for 19th. MacKale McGuire finished with a 93 (+21) in 26th. Alex Rueff competed as an individual and came in 27th with a 94 (+22).

Kalamazoo will return to play at the Defiance College Invite at the Moose Landing Country Club on Apr. 19-20.
