KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team tied for fifth out of 10 teams at the Hornet Fall Invitational at the Kalamazoo Country Club on Monday.

Kalamazoo shot 327 overall, tying with three other schools for fifth place. The Hornets were 18 strokes out of first place.

Tyler Omness tied for seventh overall while leading the Hornets with a 77.

Emilano Alvarado Rescala followed with an 82. Ethan Daugherty, Zach Mains and Nick Coseo each shot 84.

This was Kalamazoo's final event of the fall. The Hornets will return to competition in the spring.
