Lynsey started in the athletic department at Kalamazoo College in June of 2015. She serves as the assistant to the athletic director and oversees NCAA and MIAA compliance for all 18 sports programs. Lynsey also serves as the supervisor for athletic event workers and as an academic advisor.
Prior to working at K, the Kalamazoo native (Comstock High School) worked in the athletic department at Kalamazoo Valley Community College assisting with the Cougars’ sports in the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association. Prior to her time at KVCC, Lynsey was a high school English teacher at Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham, N.C. where she also coached varsity volleyball. She also served as the varsity head coach for the softball program at Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, N.C.
Lynsey earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education in 2008 from Central Michigan University where she also played softball for the Chippewas. She earned a master’s degree in sport management at Western Michigan University in 2018. Lynsey is also a 2018 inductee of the Comstock High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
