The Elite Prospect Camp at Kalamazoo College will include high level teaching and training for high school athletes planning to play softball at the collegiate level. The primary focus will be introducing players to the technical training used by the Kalamazoo College softball program. Campers will have the opportunity to experience many facets of the Hornet softball program and feel what it is like to be an athlete at Kalamazoo College. The camp fee includes all coaching sessions, Q&A with current Kalamazoo College players, information on the recruiting process, college information, camp T-shirt and access to athletic trainers. A live scrimmage will take place depending on the total number of campers. There will be a lunch break from 12:00-1:00p.m.— campers may bring their own lunch or travel off campus with a parent/guardian.
Camp Director Kelli Duimstra is entering her third year as the head softball coach at Kalamazoo College. She has over a decade worth of coaching experience and was a Division III All-American as a player. Coach Duimstra will be joined by other members of the Kalamazoo College softball coaching staff and current Hornet softball players.
