Two finish top 50 at women's cross country MIAA Jamboree

ALMA, Mich. – After a two week break from competition, the Kalamazoo College women's cross country team competed at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree and placed ninth overall.

Victoria Thamann was one of two Hornets who placed in the top 50 and was the first Hornet to cross the finish line with a 45th place finish. She recorded a time of 25:55.6. Cheyenne Allyn-White also placed in the top 50 with a 48th place finish and a time of 26:07.0.

Emma Farrell (29:20.8), Ana Mesenbring (29:29.0) and Hannah Hamilton (29:42.5) pushed each other throughout the race, running as a pack and finishing 57th, 58th and 59th respectively.

Next up for the Hornets is a pre-nationals meet in Louisville, Ky on Saturday, Oct. 1.
