KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team continued its winning ways Friday evening as the Hornets defeated Trine University, 1-0, at MacKenzie Field.

The Hornets made the lone breakthrough in the 12th minute of play as Sydney Spring settled a loose ball which was headed back into the box by Rosella LoChirco off a corner. Spring composedly gave the Hornets the 1-0 lead.

Kalamazoo carried the majority of play throughout the contest as the Hornets outshot the Thunder 25-8.

Spring and Suzanne Miller each ended the evening with four shots on goal. Madison Moote recorded two shots on frame.

Kalamazoo begins a two game road trip next week on Oct. 12 when they Hornets travel to St. Mary's.
