KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was victorious at home on Wednesday night, beating Olivet by a score of 68-62.
Olivet started the game hot and confused Kalamazoo early with some unusual defensive schemes, but Danielle Simon scored eight points to keep K within striking range. Olivet led 19-14 lead after the first quarter, but K started the second with a 10-2 run to surge into the lead. The Hornets headed into the half leading 33-30.

Olivet pulled within three points in the fourth quarter, but the Hornets responded to stretch their lead again. Isabelle Clark and Georgie Andrews finished off the game for K at the free throw line to secure the win.
The Hornets shot 34.6 percent from the field while Olivet shot 35.9 percent overall.
