KALAMAZOO, Mich. – On a cold and drizzly Thursday evening at MacKenzie Field, it was all Hornets as the Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team rolled to a 15-0 win over the North Central University Rams in the team's final non-conference tune-up.
A collective effort, the Hornets first seven goals of the game were scored by seven different players before Harrison Ramsey and Brett Fitzgerald each doubled up their total allowing K to lead 9-0 at the half.
Fitzgerald helped spread the wealth throughout the evening recording four assists, a game-high.
Also scoring multiple goals for Kalamazoo was Doug Shipp who ended the day with two goals.
Nate Silverman recorded his first career shutout between the pipes.
Riding a three-game winning streak, the Hornets are set to begin conference play on April 8 when they travel to Albion College for a noon faceoff.
