Joe Prepolec earns All-MIAA honors

Joe Prepolec was selected to the 2012 All-MIAA Men's Basketball Second Team on Monday, Feb. 27. Prepolec finished seventh in the MIAA in scoring with 14.5 points per league game and third in rebounding with 7.5 per game. He was fifth in field goal percentage (.532) and third in blocked shots per game (1.54).

Against all opponents, Prepolec ranked third in the MIAA in scoring (15.6 ppg) while leading the league in rebounding (7.4 rpg). He ranked sixth in field goal shooting (.521) and third in blocked shots per game (1.67).

Prepolec finished his career as the Hornets' eighth all-time leading scorer with 1,305 career points. He ranks sixth all-time with 613 rebounds. Earlier this season Prepolec became the sixth player in school history to reach 1,000 points and 500 rebounds, and finished his career as just the third player with 1,300 points and 600 rebounds.
