The Kalamazoo College football team and several individual players rank among the NCAA III national leaders in several statistical categories.
Quarterback Justin Danzy led the MIAA in every passing category as well as total offense and is ranked high nationally in several categories. The sophomore ranks second in the nation in total offense (360.1 yards/game), second in completions per game (32.0), third in passing yards per game (339.6), fifth in passing yards (3,056), 21st in completion percentage (.659), and 28th in points responsible for per game (17.3).
Wide receiver Josh Wise ranks ninth in the nation in receptions per game (8.1), 10th in receiving yards (1,087), 11th in receiving yards per game (108.7), and 21st in receiving touchdowns.
Fellow receiver Alex Dietrich ranks 27th in receptions per game with 7.0.
On the defensive side, Dylan Zerki ranks 24th in the nation in tackles (11.0/game) after finishing second in the MIAA in total tackles.
Ian Good ranks 27th in the nation in sacks per game (0.9) and 45th in tackles for loss per game (1.6).
As a team Kalamazoo is ranked among the national leaders as well. The Hornet offense is ranked eighth in the country in passing offense (328.1 yards/game) and 20th in completion percentage (.655). The Hornet defense is ranked 22nd in third down conversion percentage defense (.298), 31st in rushing defense (112.0), and 33rd in team tackles for loss (7.9/game).

Kalamazoo finished the 2013 season with a 6-4 record overall while tying for second place in the MIAA.
